We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Line Workers (Assemblers, Material Handlers, Quality Control Associates, and General Laborors) to join our production team in an ESS (Energy Storage System) battery packaging and electronics manufacturing plant in Matteson, IL.

Assembler role supports the assembly of battery modules, packs, and electronic components in a safety-focused and fast-paced production environment.

Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting production line operations by ensuring materials, components, and battery-related assemblies are properly handled, assembled, and maintained according to company standards. This role includes utilizing hand tools and basic power tools, performing quality inspections, maintaining production records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

• Location: Matteson, IL
• Shifts: [Day] 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM | [Night] 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (12-hour shifts; 4 days work & 4 days off)
• Hourly Pay: (Day) $17 | (Night) $18 -- Paid every Friday

[Assembler]

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble battery components, electrical modules, subassemblies, and related electronic parts according to work instructions, SOPs, and blueprints
• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and accurately to complete
• Inspect assembled parts for quality, completeness, and compliance with specifications
• Report assembly findings, defects, and non-conformances to team leads or quality personnel
• Maintain production documentation and complete required checklists
• Follow all plant safety procedures, including proper PPE usage and cleanliness standards
• Assist with material handling and staging, ensuring proper parts are available for assembly work
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in workflow, process efficiency, and quality

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and basic blueprints
• Ability to read work instructions and basic diagrams
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and commitment to safety

[Material Handler]

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle, transport, stage, and organize materials and components to support production line operations
• Assemble battery modules, electronic components, and subassemblies according to SOPs, work instructions, and blueprints
• Utilize hand tools and basic power tools safely and accurately to complete assigned tasks
• Perform quality inspections on materials and finished assemblies; identify and report defects, damages, or non-conformances
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory tracking, checklists, and documentation
• Ensure proper material flow and timely replenishment to minimize production delays and downtime
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations following 5S and safety standards
• Adhere to all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and manufacturing procedures
• Collaborate with production team members and supervisors to improve workflow efficiency and support continuous improvement efforts
• Assist with loading, unloading, packaging, labeling, and other production support tasks as needed

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or electronics production environments is a plus
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, SOPs, and basic diagrams/blueprints
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Employees must punch in by 7:45 AM and be at their assigned workstation by 7:50 AM to receive instructions from the supervisor.
• Employees without steel-toe shoes or a safety vest will be sent home.
• Leaving the workstation without permission during work hours is not allowed.
• There are four breaks (10 min, 30 min, 10 min, 30 min). Employees must take breaks as scheduled and return to work on time.
• Cell phone use is prohibited during work.
• You must pass a drug test and background screening → Drug-free workplace policy must be followed.
• Employees must punch in/out four times per day (Start / 1st Meal Out / Meal In / End of Shift).
• You get paid every Friday (The first paycheck will be issued on the Friday of the week following your first week of work.
