Position Summary

Reporting to the Assembly Team Lead, the Assembler supports all assembly activities involving mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adjust and install components according to drawings, work instructions, specifications, and applicable standards using the appropriate tools and equipment;
  • Perform functional testing following established procedures, when required;
  • Measure part dimensions to determine fitting and adjustment requirements using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.);
  • Set tolerances for moving parts;
  • Perform paint touch-ups on parts, when necessary;
  • Carry out any other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements Education

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Aircraft Structure Assembly or an equivalent qualification.

Technical Skills

  • 2 to 4 years of assembly experience; aerospace industry experience is considered an asset;
  • Strong mechanical aptitude;
  • Experience using tools such as rivet guns, shears, drills, brakes, and other assembly equipment;
  • Experience installing bearings, bushings, and sealants;
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and machining plans;
  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards is an asset;
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest manufacturing and product quality standards;
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment;
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve productivity while maintaining quality;
  • Excellent command of French (spoken and written).
