Job description

We are seeking an Assembly Process Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring efficient assembly processes that deliver the high level of quality and reliability expected of our products. This position is responsible for process preparation, inspections, and quality assurance activities across molding, painting, and assembly operations.

Process Preparation

  • Prepare and maintain management plans to support assembly processes

  • Develop and update inspection standards to ensure consistent product quality

  • Generate Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) for 4M change situations

  • Review routine test results received from customers and the Quality Control department

  • Identify root causes of assembly-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions

  • Ensure measuring and testing equipment is calibrated and functioning properly; report malfunctions and coordinate maintenance as needed

Inspection Responsibilities

Incoming / Import Inspections

  • Conduct import inspections for resin materials used in molding

  • Conduct import inspections for paint materials

Molding

  • Measure moisture content of resin after drying

  • Inspect ultra-small and medium-sized molded products for quality compliance

  • Perform final shipment inspections

Painting

  • Conduct process circuit inspections

  • Measure coating thickness and verify compliance with quality standards

  • Perform final shipment inspections for painted products

Assembly

  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards

  • Approve or reject parts based on inspection and testing results

  • Release conforming products for further processing or shipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
