Job description

Description:

The Assembly & Test Technician will be responsible for various functions to ensure conformance to specifications and continuous production consistent with established standards.

Essential Functions

  • Assemble equipment based on customer sales order; complete assembly according to requirements and safety rules/regulations; complete assembly documentation.
  • Repair equipment.
  • Work at different workstations as needed.
  • Identify, place and stamp parts in specified relationship to each other and per instructions on job order, router and drawing.
  • Check parts and router for accuracy and review assembly procedures. Bolt, clip, screw and fasten parts together.
  • Wash, mask, and paint assembled equipment.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on environment.
  • Frequent standing, bending and lifting.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Fully participate in HSE Management Program and comply with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure compliance in respective areas of control with all Quality management System requirements, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 6 months experience in related job and industry and /or training
  • Current Forklift certification
  • Demonstrated good math skills
  • Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Work Environment

  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical components, airborne fumes, and particles
  • Exposure to heat, cold, wet and snow conditions
  • Moderate noise levels
