Location: Norfolk, VA
Pay: $22.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

Our client is a global environmental services organization specializing in water, wastewater, waste management, and energy solutions.

Their water treatment operations help industrial and municipal customers manage, treat, recycle, and reuse water through specialized equipment, technologies, and treatment systems.

About the Position

We are looking for an Industrial Fabrication & Assembly Associate to assist with the production and fabrication of specialized water treatment equipment and systems.

This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools, equipment, and materials and wants to develop their skills in industrial fabrication and assembly.

You will work as part of a team to fabricate, assemble, and prepare components used in specialized water treatment systems. The position involves operating industrial equipment, pipe fitting, working with different materials, and occasionally assisting with field repairs and installations.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with the production and fabrication of specialized water treatment equipment and systems
  • Operate a variety of industrial equipment, including:
    • Forklifts
    • Scissor lifts
    • Drill presses
    • Belt sanders
    • Band saws
    • Bench grinders
    • Ironworkers
  • Fabricate and assemble components for water treatment systems
  • Perform pipe fitting using materials such as:
    • PVC
    • CPVC
    • Fiberglass
    • Stainless steel
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely
  • Follow established safety procedures and workplace guidelines
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Perform confined-space entry into small tanks with approximately 14" x 18" manways when needed
  • Travel to customer locations for field repairs and equipment installations as required
  • Complete required records, reports, and documentation

  • Previous experience operating industrial machinery or fabrication equipment
