Job description

We have an opening for a Production Associate in our Vernon Hills, IL location. This is a direct hire position working Monday - Friday.
The Production Associate is responsible for assembling finished products using small hand tools, supporting the company's production goals while ensuring every item meets our high standards of quality. This role involves operating specialized computer software and equipment. You'll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly while supporting overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Small component assembly using small hand tools to meet daily production goals.
  • Utilize computer programs to service circuit boards and verify product information.
  • Thorough inspection of finished goods to ensure quality standards and expectations are met.
  • Pick and prepare necessary materials according to work orders.
  • Provide backup support for the fulfillment team through cross-training as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.

Education and Experience Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally

Preferred Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience working in a warehouse/assembly setting, preferred
  • Positive attitude and active listening skills to effectively follow instructions and collaborate with team members
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high quality assembly
  • Ability to learn specialized computer software and equipment the team uses
  • Flexibility to serve as backup for other teams and take on new tasks

Expected Hours:Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Pay: $18.00 per hour
