Job Summary/Overview
This position works within the 2X built to order assembly area and is responsible for assembling conveyor systems and subassemblies according to work orders, blueprints, and production paperwork, performing product testing and quality checks, and preparing completed products for shipping.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday
6:00am - 2:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs conveyor assembly and subassembly duties from work orders, blueprints, and production paperwork.
  • Gathers and verifies parts and materials required for production orders.
  • Uses hand and measuring tools to assemble products and verify specifications.
  • Tests completed products and performs quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Works with team leads and other departments as needed to resolve assembly or material-related issues.
  • Assists with preparing completed products for shipping and transfer to the crating department.
  • Works in a safe manner complying with all safety procedures.
  • Maintains a safe and clean environment and performs 5S tasks as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret production paperwork and work instructions.
  • Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate production equipment.
  • Ability to remain focused and productive while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to reflect changing business needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
  • 1+ year of assembly experience preferred.

$19+/hour depending on experience
