    Job Summary: The Door Shop Assembler is primarily responsible for safely, accurately, and efficiently assemble wood and metal components into wall panel finished products in accordance with design measurements and specifications.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Accurately place pre-cut wood components onto jigs in accordance with wall panel and door design specifications.
    • Assemble components using staple guns, air nail guns, and other required tools.
    • Operate power saws and other equipment to prepare materials for assembly.
    • Measure and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.
    • Install metal connector plates at joints per design requirements.
    • Work on a door pre-hanging assembly line while maintaining expected production pace.
    • Perform routine maintenance and basic upkeep on tools and equipment.
    • Safely operate a forklift to move materials to appropriate areas of the shop.
    • Pick and pull production materials as needed to support workflow.
    • Load, unload, store, and package materials as required.
    • Move completed products to the packaging/shipping area of the production line.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety policies and procedures.
    Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
    • Ability to read or learn to read a tape measure accurately.
    • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a forklift.
    • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
