Manufacturing Manager Job Description: 

PrideStaff is working with a local solar company who is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join their team.  The Manufacturing Manager will lead the assembly team, manage daily production, and support clean-water infrastructure. The ideal Manufacturing Manager has multiple years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on solar technology, has 1 or more years of leadership, has solid knowledge of SOP’s, and is highly organized with leadership skills.  The Manufacturing Manager is a full-time, direct hire position in Woodland, CA. 


Manufacturing Manager Job Responsibilities: 

  • Create Production Schedules, Manage Daily Assembly, & Meet Fulfilment Targets 
  • Create & Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) For Builds & Quality Checks 
  • Track Inventory Levels, Prevent Shortages, & Manage Delivery Timelines
  • Answer Technical Questions & Coordinate Customer Service Requests 
  • Train, Mentor, & Guide Assemblers on Safety & Build Standards 
  • Work With Sales & Operations to Track Metrics & Plan Demands 
  • Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines 

Manufacturing Manager Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 
  • Bachelors or Associate Degree in a Related Field or 5+ Years of Hands on Experience 
  • 2+ Years of Assembly, Production or Warehouse Operations 
  • 1+ Years of Leadership Experience 
  • Must be Mechanically Inclined With Wiring Troubleshooting Experience & Knowledge of SOP Writing Skills 
  • Must be Able to Lift up to 50lbs & Work in a Warehouse Environment
  • Demonstrates Excellent Organizational & Planning Skills
