The BridgeWay offers a continuum of services designed to help children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing behavioral, emotional or addictive problems that can lead to fractured lives. Our team of professionals includes board-certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrists, licensed clinical therapists, nurses and mental health associates who are here to help people reconnect with their families, friends and employers so that they may lead productive lives. Tucked within the wooded hills of Central Arkansas, The BridgeWay is just moments away from the major highways that unite Arkansans throughout the state. Founded in 1983 and accredited by The Joint Commission, our quiet campus has retained much of the cozy charm and character that existed then.
Under the supervision of the Director of Health Information Management/Medical Records, the HIM/Medical Records Clerk takes care of release of information, and performs other duties to include chart assembly and analysis, filing, faxing the records to the outpatient providers withing five days of patient discharge, mailing patient belongings.

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Licenses or Certifications: None
Total education, vocational training and experience:
  • High school graduate with at least one year of Medical Records experience or a degree in Health Information.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Must possess knowledge of medical terminology, along with expertise in medical transcription.
  • Requires effective communication and interpersonal actions with the ability to follow instructions, yet perform under stress in a productive, independent manner.
  • Must have typing skill of at least 50 words per minutes.
