035102 Assembly Operator (Open)


ROLE OVERVIEW:

Industrial Manufacturing colleague for hand assembly, automated assembly, packaging products, amongst other production-oriented tasks.


1st Shift

Monday-Thursday: 4am-2:30pm


Key Responsibilities

  • Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
  • Packaging Products into both bulk packaging and individual cartons.
  • Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
  • Maintains logs and records of units produced.
  • Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Reliable and focused.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Education And Experience

  • Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2- 3 years of manufacturing experience.


Knowledge And Skills

  • Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
  • Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
  • Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production / manufacturing equipment.
  • Reading, writing and speaking English.
