What does aN Assembly Technician do?

All World Machinery Supply is seeking a motivated Assembly Technician to join our dynamic Manufacturing Department. In this vital role, you will be responsible for building wood crates, organizing and distributing parts, and constructing sub-assemblies. Your tasks will encompass a variety of hands-on activities, including fabrication, welding, painting, wiring, and testing the final product. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive team environment that encourages collaboration across departments, ensuring that quality workmanship is maintained throughout the assembly process.

We're looking for a driven individual eager to expand their skills within our growing company, contributing to innovative solutions while working closely with fellow team members to achieve shared goals.

What matters most

To excel as an Assembly Technician at All World Machinery Supply, a range of skills and qualifications are essential. A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with 1-2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical systems, preferably in the machine tool industry or factory automation. Candidates with UL Certification will have an advantage.

Proficiency in tools and software for building and assembling shipping crates, positioning parts and subassemblies using templates or schematics, and performing equipment assembly according to engineering drawings is crucial.
