Job description

TBest Services Inc. is seeking an Industrial Equipment Assembler for a client in Elkridge, Maryland.
This role involves building industrial machinery and mechanical systems from blueprints. Candidates must be able to read mechanical drawings and assemble equipment with precision and minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly & Fabrication
  • Assemble industrial machinery, conveyors, frames, and mechanical systems from blueprints
  • Build subassemblies and complete units using hand and power tools
  • Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, fastening, and installation of components
  • Drill, tap, mount, and adjust components as required

Technical Interpretation
  • Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, layouts, and assembly drawings
  • Follow bills of materials (BOMs) and work instructions
  • Work independently from drawings

Quality & Inspection
  • Inspect assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and tolerances
  • Verify proper mechanical fit and movement of components
  • Identify and correct mechanical issues during assembly

Material Handling & Safety
  • Position and align components using hoists or lifting equipment
  • Maintain tools and a clean, organized workspace
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
