Job description

Job Description:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components and wiring assemblies, as well as supporting production related tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform hand soldering of electronic components, wires, and circuit boards
  • Assemble small parts and subassemblies using hand tools and fixtures
  • Follow work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Work with Quality Inspectors to ensure quality and compliance
  • Identify and rework defective solder joints or assemblies
  • Pick parts and subassembly kits as needed
  • Record production data and track completed work
  • Assist with packaging in Data Center repack as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Meet daily production targets

Minimum Required Skills and Education
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous soldering/assembly experience
  • Ability to read schematics and follow assembly instructions
  • Must be able to effectively read, write and communicate in English
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time during shift
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Ability to work with small components
  • Exposure to soldering fumes with ventilation system
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.

Compensation Information:
$22 per hour
