Job description

Job Overview 

   Reports to: Department Supervisor

    Location: Garden Grove, CA

    Type: Full-Time

     Schedule: 3rd Shift

Job Summary:

Responsible for packaging parts for shipment/transport.

  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met
  • Ensure that all documentation is kept with the materials
  • Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
  • Seal containers or materials, using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials
  • Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools
  • Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools
  • Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks
  • Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)
  • Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly
  • Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

  • Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversation

  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses
  • Standing for long periods of time
