Position Overview

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Aspire Counseling Services, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being to determine their unique needs and concerns.
  • Formulate and implement thoughtful treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies, regularly reviewing and adjusting these plans based on client progress.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions with clients from diverse backgrounds, addressing a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
  • Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering healthier relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to create a holistic care approach tailored to the client's needs.
  • Stay engaged in professional development and training to incorporate the latest research and best practices into your clinical work.
  • Participate in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and support them in making informed decisions about their treatment options.
  • Promote self-care practices for both clients and yourself to maintain emotional resilience, encouraging a healthy work-life balance.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population that includes teens, adults, and couples facing a variety of challenges related to mental health and relationships. Your expertise will help empower clients from different backgrounds to navigate their unique situations and foster meaningful personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board of Massachusetts.
  • Proven experience providing individual or couples therapy as well as work with diverse age groups.
  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on timely completion of client evaluations and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with proficiency in electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health context or similar mental health environment.
  • Knowledge and comfort with remote therapy technologies and methodologies.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development in therapeutic techniques.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
