Job description

RDU Paving is looking for a team player that builds positive relationships with co-workers, employees, vendors, suppliers, and customers. Responsibilities Include:
Estimating:
  • Attend any Pre-Bid or customer meetings
  • Analyze all plans, specs, and addenda
  • Quantify site work items utilizing on-screen estimating software
  • Gather material, hauling, and subcontractor pricing
  • Respond to incoming customer requests as well as sell to new customers.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and proposals

Project Manager:
  • Visit job site before mobilizing crews to verify subgrade, stone, and curb.
  • Facilitate scheduling of jobs including labor needs, equipment requirements, external trucking, materials, and subcontractors with RDU Paving Operations Manager and Foreman.
  • Communicate and Coordinate scheduling with our Customer's Project Manager & Superintendent. (ie: Owner, General Contractor, Grading Contractor, or HOA Manager)
  • Complete all required contract paper work including pay applications and change orders
