This position works under the supervision of the Foreman and plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Candidates must be able to shovel for extended periods and handle physically demanding work. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS INCLUDING EXTREAM HEAT!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of surfaces for asphalt installation
- Operate hand and power tools to remove old asphalt and prep surfaces
- Assist with the installation of new asphalt surfaces
- Support repair work on existing asphalt areas
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and job site guidelines
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Foreman
