Raincross Medical Group – Riverside, California Part-Time | Monday, Tuesday & Friday $70–$100+/hour, based on experience Spanish Fluency Strongly Preferred
ABOUT RAINCROSS MEDICAL GROUP
At Raincross Medical Group, we believe primary care should be proactive—not reactive.
Our mission is to prevent disease whenever possible, identify health concerns early, and build lasting relationships with patients through compassionate, high-quality care.
We are an established, physician-led Primary Care and Internal Medicine practice serving a diverse adult population throughout Riverside and the Inland Empire. Our model combines preventive medicine, chronic disease management, population health, value-based care, and innovative technology—including AI-assisted clinical workflows.
We believe excellent medicine requires both high clinical standards and a workplace designed to help clinicians practice sustainably.
Our core values are Patients First, Compassion, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork, and Growth.
We're looking for an NP or PA who wants to become a trusted member of our clinical team and grow with our practice.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a patient-centered Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide outpatient adult primary care.
Experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, Family Medicine, General Practice, or outpatient Internal Medicine is strongly valued. Relevant Family Medicine and Family Practice experience is considered directly applicable to this position.
Both experienced clinicians and motivated new graduates or early-career NPs/PAs will be considered.
Because we care for a significant Spanish-speaking population, professional Spanish fluency is strongly preferred and will be an important advantage in candidate selection.
American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency is also preferred.
Neither Spanish nor ASL is required.

A PRIMARY CARE SCHEDULE DESIGNED DIFFERENTLY
Many outpatient practices achieve productivity through continuously stacked appointments, leaving clinicians to complete documentation, results, messages, and inbox work after clinic.
Our model is intentionally different.
Our mature full-day provider templates are thoughtfully designed around approximately 18–20 total patient encounters, with a mix of:
Just as importantly, administrative time is intentionally built into the appointment template.
Administrative and buffer blocks are incorporated:
These blocks provide time for documentation, laboratory and imaging results, patient messages, inbox management, care coordination, preparation for complex patients, and visits that require additional clinical time.
We intentionally disperse administrative time throughout the schedule to reduce prolonged patient stacking and help providers complete routine clinical work within scheduled hours—not routinely take charts home at night.
Providers also receive dedicated Medical Assistant, front-office, administrative, and population-health support.
For clinicians coming from higher-volume primary care environments, this difference can be meaningful.
Our philosophy is that sustainable productivity supports better clinical reasoning, better documentation, better patient communication, and better long-term provider performance.
90-DAY ONBOARDING & DEVELOPMENT
Every newly hired provider participates in a structured 90-day ramp-up period designed to support a successful transition into the practice.
We do not expect a new clinician to begin with a full schedule on day one.
During the first three months, patient volume and complexity progressively increase while the provider becomes familiar with our patients, EMR, clinical workflows, documentation standards, preventive-care model, and team-based approach.
Depending on experience, onboarding may include:
Experienced Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine clinicians may progress more quickly based on demonstrated competency.
By the end of the 90-day period, providers are expected to demonstrate the clinical judgment, efficiency, documentation, communication, and workflow skills needed to successfully work within our standard 18–20 encounter full-day clinical model.
The 90-day period allows both the provider and the practice to determine whether the position is a strong long-term fit.
COMPENSATION
Compensation is based on relevant Primary Care, Family Medicine/Family Practice, or Internal Medicine experience; clinical independence; communication skills; workflow efficiency; and overall qualifications.
New Graduate / Early-Career NP or PA
$70–$78/hour
Structured mentorship with progressive clinical independence.
Established Primary Care / Family Medicine / Internal Medicine NP or PA

Experienced / Highly Independent NP or PA
$88–$100+/hour

Compensation within these ranges is individualized based on qualifications and experience.
Eligible providers may also participate in incentive programs recognizing clinical quality, preventive-care outcomes, patient experience, documentation, responsible productivity, population health, and value-based care performance.
Our incentive philosophy is designed to reward excellent primary care—not simply higher visit volume.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
Common conditions include hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, chronic kidney disease, heart failure, thyroid disorders, asthma/COPD, obesity, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal conditions, and common outpatient acute illnesses.
CLINICAL SUPPORT & EXPECTATIONS
