Job description

We are H Mart, the largest Asian supermarket chain in America. Starting in 1982 with a single store in Woodside, Queens, H Mart has grown to include more than 71 stores across the United States.H Mart is America's premier Asian food destination and provides groceries and everyday essential needs as well as upscale products.H Mart offers a full line of Asian foods as well as a broad range of Western groceries to complement its full scale offering to that of a traditional supermarket.H Mart is also known for its innovative new food halls which are an extension of over 37 years of providing eateries in its stores.

Store Associate Positions:

1. Available Positions (Part-time and Full-time)

Cashier

a. Bag merchandise and collect money.

b. Operate cash register to process sales.

c. Close and balance cash drawers.

d. Assist return/refund customers.

e. Handle customer complaint.

Seafood / Meat & Poultry

a. Weigh meat and label containers with the weight and contents.

b. Sort and process by-products into specified sealed containers.

c. Clean, carve, and trim carcasses into parts and package accordingly.

d. Assist in skin, feather, scales, and bone removal.

Produce

a. Bag or wrap purchases for customer or for display.

b. Rotate product according to company methods and procedures.

c. Fill customer order by obtaining items from shelves, freezers, coolers, bins, tables or containers.

d. Clean shelves, bins, cases, tables and coolers.

Grocery

a. Move products and packaging from one location of the store to another safely.

b. Check inventory and update stock totals.

c. Shelve groceries in an attractive, hygienic manner.

d. Attend meetings and assist with emergency deliveries.
Operation Support

a. Collect shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
b. May assist customers with questions or concerns during a normal shift.
c. Provide assistance to cashier by bagging the customers shopping items
d. May be assigned to assist customers, stock shelves, or perform cleaning duties.
c. Work closely with all employees to provide every customer with a satisfied and safe shopping experience.
