Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Cashier/Host/Host to join our team at Zenshin Asian Restaurant.  In this role as first point of contact for our guests, ensure guests feel welcomed and valued.  Your contribution will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience and embodying our mission of hospitality.


Key Responsibilities

·         Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.

·         Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently based on floor plan.

·         Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials.

·         Assist with guest inquiries and ensure their needs are met promptly.

·         Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.

·         Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

·         Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred

·         Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.

·         Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form

·         Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

·         Cashier Skills-familiarity with Infogenesis POS systems within casino preferred but not required.

·         Hotel policy: No facial hair, no visual tattoos, no visual facial piercings, natural colored hair, no long hair for men.
