Clinic receptionist/ assistant

We are a busy and well-established acupuncture practice seeking a receptionist to work in a traditional Chinese and Asian community.

Responsibilities include:

Basic

Prepare the front desk for opening and closing

Greeting and check in/out patients

Scheduling and managing appointments

Collect co-pays and payments on account in person

Answering phones, and e-mails related to patient inquiries for care and scheduling or directing patient questions and issues to the appropriate person

Administrative duties related to patients' records

Assisting the care team with herb dispensary, room turnover, and light cleaning as needed.

Additional

Checking insurance eligibility online or by phone

Billing insurance and recording payments

Calling and resolving issues with insurance companies

Coordinating credentialing/re-credentialing for providers
