Commercial Hot Cold Tech
Skol Construction Concepts an arm of Checkmate Pizza, is one of the largest Domino's franchises in the United States, has over 80 locations in the Southeast market. We are seeking an Commercial Oven Repair Technician to join our fast-paced team. This position requires the ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment, primarily XLT & Middleby Marshall conveyor style ovens. RETAeC or ASF certification or graduation from a technical or trade school preferred. In addition, the Technician must possess an awareness and understanding of how to work safely while performing facilities and equipment repairs as well as preventative maintenance on all our restaurant equipment.
This is a full-time position that requires the ability be able to work flexible shifts including nights, some weekends, and rotating "On-Call" duty with other techs

Responsibilities
The role requires troubleshooting and repairing commercial kitchen equipment, primarily XLT & Middleby Marshall conveyor style ovens etc.
Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory.
Communicate with manufacturers as needed to assist with diagnoses and parts identification.
Partner with unit managers to offer solutions and timelines that work for the business and the team.
Qualifications
High School or trade/technical school diploma or GED preferred
Basic level computer skills for word processing and spreadsheets
Previous experience with service apps such as Corrigo, Service Channel or Titan preferred
RETAeC or ASF certification preferred
Other Requirements
Must pass a background check and random drug screenings
Must have a clean driving record - will undergo regular MVR reports
This role requires traveling and overnight stays for up to 4 days at a time
Must have a smart device to communicate and access Service Apps
Carry cell phone for "on call" rotating schedule
Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and tools
Complete work orders promptly, prioritizing critical tasks
Work without direct supervision on daily assigned tasks
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
Must be able to perform under extreme stress when there is an equipment failure
Must communicate clearly and effectively via both verbal and written
Critical thinker with good problem-solving abilities and strong attention to details
Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 30 degrees and up to 100 degrees for long periods of time
Must be comfortable working in narrow aisles and passageways including confined spaces for extended periods of time
Must be able to remain calm, professional, and maintain self-control during challenging events
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a frequent basis
The ability to stand or kneel for multiple hours at a time
Good manual dexterity
