Key Responsibilities & QualificationsKey Skillset Requirements (C-Level Focus):
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and fluid flushes (coolant, transmission, brake, power steering).
  • Basic Repairs: Conduct basic brake service, tire installations/repairs, and battery replacements.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist B-Level and A-Level Technicians on larger mechanical and diagnostic jobs to learn advanced skills.
  • Multi-Point Inspections: Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify and report safety concerns and maintenance needs.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an express/lube tech or completion of an automotive vocational program/degree preferred.
  • Basic set of personal hand tools (we offer a tool allowance option to help you grow your set!).
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn and advance in the trade.

Required Education:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and state-required inspection/emissions certifications.

Preferred Education:

- Vocational/technical school certificate or associate degree in Automotive Technology preferred.

- Coursework in automotive systems, ASE student certification, or completion of a recognized automotive training program is a plus.

Required Experience:

- Entry-level position; prior quick-lube, tire shop, or basic maintenance experience preferred but not required.

- Must hold Suspension & Steering, Brakes, and Electrical/Electronic Systems (Auto/Light Truck) certifications or ability to obtain quickly.

Preferred Experience:

- 6+ months automotive service experience in a dealership or independent repair shop.

- Familiarity with multi-point inspections, diagnostic tools, and manufacturer-specific service procedures is a plus.
