Job Title: Asbestos Worker

Location: Oregon and Washington

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Asbestos Worker to join our team in Oregon. As an Asbestos Worker, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) from various sites, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have experience working with asbestos, understand the importance of strict safety protocols, and be committed to maintaining regulatory compliance throughout the abatement process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely remove asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) from buildings, structures, and other facilities, following all OSHA, EPA, SWCAA, LNI and Oregon state safety regulations.

  • Set up containment areas, negative air pressure systems, and decontamination units as required.

  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirators, protective clothing, and gloves to ensure worker safety.

  • Work in accordance with established safety protocols and asbestos removal work plans.

  • Prepare and clean up work areas, including disposal of asbestos waste according to proper procedures.

  • Perform air monitoring during abatement to ensure compliance with safety standards.

  • Assist in maintaining accurate documentation and reports, including daily logs and waste disposal records.

  • Follow safe work practices when handling asbestos-containing debris and materials.

  • Support the Asbestos Supervisor in conducting pre-work inspections and safety briefings.
