Job Title: Industrial Hygienist / Asbestos Project Monitor
Location: Massachusetts (statewide)
Pay Range: $27.00 - $35.00/HR (approx. $56,000-$73,000/YR)
Job Description: 
USPRO Talent Solutions is seeking a Field Technician / Industrial Hygienist to support Building Sciences projects throughout Massachusetts. This position focuses on hazardous materials investigations, asbestos project monitoring, indoor air quality assessments, and environmental field services.

The ideal candidate will have experience with asbestos monitoring, hazardous building materials surveys, industrial hygiene assessments, and client-facing environmental consulting projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hazardous building materials surveys for asbestos-containing materials, lead-containing materials, PCBs, universal waste, and related environmental hazards
  • Perform asbestos project monitoring, abatement oversight, and air monitoring activities
  • Conduct indoor air quality (IAQ) and industrial hygiene assessments, including LEED IAQ evaluations
  • Perform moisture intrusion and microbial investigations
  • Prepare technical reports, field documentation, and compliance-related deliverables
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agency representatives
  • Support environmental investigations and Building Sciences projects throughout Massachusetts
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in asbestos project monitoring, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials consulting, or related environmental services
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently in both field and office environments
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to wear respiratory protection, safety harnesses, and other required PPE
Required Massachusetts Certifications

Candidates must possess one or more of the following Massachusetts-recognized certifications:

  • Licensed Asbestos Project Monitor
  • Asbestos Inspector
  • Lead Inspector / Risk Assessor
  • Indoor Air Quality Training
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
