Compensation: $65-$75/hour About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Aruba networking, Juniper routing and switching, cloud networking, and network security. This position supports a mission-critical enterprise environment where reliability, security, and modernization are top priorities.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex network infrastructures across data center, enterprise, and hybrid cloud environments while ensuring compliance with federal security requirements. What You'll Do • Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Aruba networking solutions including: ○ Switching ○ Routing ○ Wireless networking ○ Data center networking • Implement and support Juniper networking environments using: ○ Junos OS ○ Routing and switching technologies ○ Firewall policies ○ Secure network architectures • Design and maintain enterprise-grade Layer 2 and Layer 3 network architectures. • Build and support: ○ VLANs ○ VRFs ○ EVPN/VXLAN environments ○ High-availability network solutions • Configure and optimize routing protocols including: ○ BGP ○ OSPF • Design and support hybrid cloud connectivity solutions utilizing: ○ VPCs and VNets ○ Transit gateways ○ VPN connectivity ○ Direct Connect and ExpressRoute • Implement network security controls and compliance requirements. • Support RMF and ATO activities. • Apply Zero Trust principles, network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and access control strategies. • Remediate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards and audit requirements. • Collaborate with cloud, security, systems, storage, and application teams to deliver infrastructure modernization initiatives. • Participate in technical discussions, solution design, documentation, training, and incident resolution efforts.
