Qualifications:Currently employed in MCPS Arts programStrong communications, organization, public relations, and interpersonal skills Job Overview: The fine arts lead teacher will coordinate with the MCPS instruction team to plan, implement, and provide support for the arts programs in the schools in MCPS. This position is a part-time position that will receive a stipend for compensation. Job Functions:Collaborate with Instruction Team to plan professional learning;Facilitate professional learning;Coordinate with Instruction Team to create budget requests for the Arts programs in MCPS;Promote the Arts programs in MCPSProvide support and consultation to teachers with fine arts programming in MCPS schoolsProvide training and education for school personnel;Improve positive classroom engagement, interactions, and educational achievement for students participating in the Arts programs in MCPS.Foster positive partnerships between schools and student families through Arts programming.Foster positive partnerships between MCPS and community stakeholders through Arts programming.
