We are looking for experienced and qualified Martial Arts Instructors and Program Managers to join our team at Championship Martial Arts. Any successful applicant must be highly motivated, passionate about martial arts and committed to their own practice and development, as well as the development of others. While we appreciate all practices of martial arts, we looking for instructors specifically trained in: kick boxing, taekwondo, muay thai and karate.

For Instructors:

  • Teach martial arts classes, demonstrating different moves and techniques for participants of various skill levels in a safe and fun environment
  • Monitor participants’ performance and provide guidance and instruction on how to improve
  • Motivate participants, build confidence in their abilities, and develop skills in martial arts such as self-defense
  • Foster relationships with local public schools and other small businesses to market our programs and school
  • Maintain student discipline both inside the dojo and during competitions
  • Develop trainings for elite level athletes
  • Collaborate with the school's management to promote use of new approaches in martial arts lessons
  • Keep detailed records of participants’ progress, attendance, etc.
  • Communicate with parents about the student’s progress within their program

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Martial Arts Experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Ideal candidate is comfortable working with all ages
  • Ability to teach group classes
  • Customer service
  • Sales Training is not required but preferred
  • Must be a black belt in karate or similar martial arts

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Candidate should be efficient with time management
  • Able to communicate with both students and families of students
  • Proven experience managing teams effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
