About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a responsible, fun, detail oriented candidate for our Front Desk Lesson Coordinator position at Christopher Laughlin School of Music, our Northbrook, IL location. The successful candidate will be an organized, motivated self-starter with a strong customer service mindset. A demonstrated interest in music and music education would be an asset.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Registering new clients
  • Client scheduling
  • Client billing
  • Teacher scheduling
  • Answer calls & emails
  • Daily Schedule Revision
  • Reception, During Teaching Hours
    • Greet clients and make sure students find their correct teacher
    • Answer phone calls and emails regarding current and new student scheduling
  • Help assist in planning recitals and other events
  • Social Media
    • Create and post Instagram and Facebook content
    • Posting on Google business
  • Regular up-keep of the school
    • Vacuuming, keeping front desk organized, resetting the school for the next day

This posting is for Christopher Laughlin School of Music, our school in Northbrook, IL. The Christopher Laughlin School of Music started in 1996 as the Christopher Laughlin Classical Guitar Studio in Glenview, IL. Over the years, Christopher Laughlin consolidated all of his teaching into one location and gradually added more teachers, more lesson programs, and more space. The respected CLSM currently has a highly qualified and esteemed faculty of 17 music teachers who inspire, motivate, and ignite the hearts and minds of approximately 240 music students per week.
