Job description

Description The Fairfield Community Arts Center is looking for enthusiastic and talented instructors / teachers interested in bringing classes or programs to our community.These are not existing classes; instructors will work with our team to create and offer classes, with classes running based on registration. Classes can be for kids or adults. Although we are open to all subjects and skills, we are currently interested in the following: cake decorating, cooking skills, sensory exploration, and 'Mommy & Me'

We have space available Monday, Friday, and Saturday's, including evenings. Classes are typically offered in 3-6 week sessions. If you have the passion and experience to teach a class, we would love to hear from you.

Examples of Duties Instructors will be responsible for the following: Create, plan and deliver engaging and appropriate lesson plans under the direction of the Arts & Education Programmer. Creating supply lists and manage inventory

Set-up and clean-up of classroom / teaching space. Assist with program recruitment. Typical Qualifications Teaching experience is requested.

Knowledge and experience in the class subject. Must possess effective oral and written communications skills.
