Job description

Seamus Golf is seeking a Production Artist who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and possesses a keen eye for detail. This position is responsible for finalizing creative designs, preparing artwork for production, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and brand consistency across all products. The Production Artist works closely with both the creative and sales teams to develop customer mockups, product artwork, and visual assets for e-commerce and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred.
  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in production design, artwork preparation, graphic design, or related creative work.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe XD is helpful but not required.
  • Experience preparing artwork for print production, embroidery, and product mockups.
  • Strong understanding of color management, typography, layout principles, and production processes.
  • Knowledge of CMYK vs. RGB color modes, spot color vs. process color, and vector vs. raster graphics.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality assurance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Google Workspace apps, such as Gmail, Drive, Sheets, and Docs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information and proprietary designs.

Essential Duties
The Production Artist serves as the final quality checkpoint in the creative production process while supporting both customer-facing and internal design initiatives.
  • Assist with design needs for golf accessories, bags, apparel, and home goods.
  • Translate creative concepts into visually compelling designs for print and digital applications.
  • Create production-ready artwork, layouts, patterns, embroidery files, and customer presentation materials.
  • Develop digital product mockups for customers and e-commerce platforms.
  • Review and proof artwork, layouts, and content to ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency.
  • Maintain consistency in color, typography, production quality, and visual standards across all products.
  • Perform image retouching, cropping, scaling, and layout adjustments to optimize product presentations.
  • Prepare and distribute artwork files for internal production teams and external vendors.
  • Order and manage embroidery files and prepare production files for laser applications and other manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct detailed quality assurance reviews, identifying and correcting errors related to typography, color, sizing, resolution, and file setup requirements.
  • Organize and maintain design asset libraries, logo management systems, and artwork archives.
  • Create materials and visual presentations for meetings and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with both the Design and Sales teams to meet project deadlines and business objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
