Job description

Revolution is now hiring a Graphic Artist in Vernon, CA. Here is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a challenging role with a growing company.
  • Create and send art proofs to customers and update the database with the corresponding proof status codes.
  • Prepare artwork in the appropriate format for ordering printing plates.
  • Be proficient with the Art Department’s databases and software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Coordinate the Art Department's workflow and turnaround times in alignment with the overall company workflow.
  • Learn and adhere to the Art Department and company policies, procedures, and production capabilities, while suggesting improvements as necessary.
  • Effectively communicate policies, procedures, and production capabilities to both internal departments and external customers.
  • Represent the Art Department in meetings with other departments.
  • Be self-motivated to regularly train and work towards mastering all Art Department skills, serving as a backup in their absence.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the Art Director.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software on a Mac, particularly in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, email, internet navigation, and Mac-based computer operations.
  • Experience in production artwork functions, including vector formats, trapping, and centerlines.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable making decisions and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on factors such as job size, preparation time for artwork, and customer needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
  • Must have a "can-do" attitude and work effectively as part of a team.

California Pay Transparency: Base Range $70k - $72k + Bonus + Benefits + PTO
