Job description

 
This work expands from St. Pete to Orlando, Naples to Weekie Wachee
You will assist turf installation crew with various duties such as
shoveling, raking, running wheelbarrows, sod/dirt removal, installing base material, installing turf/pavers.
  • Follow directions of supervisor as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite.
  • May be called upon to run power tools such as a sod cutter or compactor.
  • Dig, spread and level construction base material.
  • Lift, push, pull, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Use tools such as; carpet knife, carpet chisel, measuring devices, motorized plate compactor, and other various hand tools.
  • Layout, cut and install artificial turf per drawings and work orders.
  • Keep work area clean and tools put away neatly at end of day.
Work Requirements:
  • 3 Years of Artificial Turf/Paver, or concrete experience required.
  • Must have your Own reliable transportation. If not, we can provide a ride from our home to the job site
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum of High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude toward co-workers, supervisors, customers and the general public at all times.
  • Report to work at the designated start time.
  • Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisor with other duties as required.
  • Be detail oriented with pride of workmanship.
Compensation: Based on skill set and work experience.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
  • Commission pay for locked in estimates
