Reinhart is Canada's leading producer of vinegars,maraschino cherries, glace fruit, and a respected name in the baking ingredientand hard cider industries. Reinhart produces private label for Canada's leadingretailers as well as marketing and producing its own brands Allen's,Reinhart's, Daltons (1834), and Jaffa. Reinhart is also an industrialingredient leader to both local food producers and North America's leadingmulti-national manufacturers.

Machine Operator

This Job Offers:

  • $20.00/hour plus premium of $1.50/hour
  • Work Monday-Thursday PM Shift (4:20PM - 2:50 AM)
  • Off every Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Full Benefit Package
  • Company Pension Match at 5%

Major Role & Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines to start a production cycle
  • Control and adjust machine settings
  • Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
  • Inspect parts with precision
  • Test operation of machines periodically
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
  • Maintain activity logs 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a machine operator
  • Working knowledge of diverse machinery.
  • Understanding of production procedures
  • Analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Team work and communication skills
  • Strictly adhering to the organization's food safety and quality policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
