Travel Team OTR we Pay Hourly and by the Mileage!
Crozier Fine Arts is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Art Transportation Driver - Travel Team to join our Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, long-distance, Over-The-Road (OTR) transport of priceless art and artifacts across the US, ensuring the integrity of all artworks during transit and acting as a professional client liaison. Team Driving is required.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
  • Safely operate company vehicles (tractor-trailer units) for long-distance, OTR routes and perform all required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip truck inspections.
  • Collaborate with your driving partner and internal teams to plan, organize, load, and unload trucks, ensuring the optimal safety and security of objects during transit.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and DOT regulations, maintaining an excellent driving record and adhering to all security procedures.
  • Handle and move artworks, including wrapping, packing, and crating using appropriate industry-standard techniques and materials.Additionally, conduct inspections of various art objects as needed.
  • Act as a professional liaison while on-site between clients, institutions, and company management, and conduct accurate inspection reports for various types of art objects.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A valid CLASS A CDL driver's license and a good driving record, and be at least 21 years old.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, long-haul safety procedures, and secure transport methods.
  • Proven ability in safe, efficient driving skills combined with excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • At least one year of route transportation experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical.
  • Physical ability to safely lift at least 70 pounds, push/pull cargo, and sustain walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.
