We are looking for a creative, social-media-obsessed intern who loves beauty, nails, fashion, and internet culture. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience working with a growing consumer brand and contribute to real content, campaigns, product launches, and creator initiatives.

This is a paid, on-site internship based in Culver City, California.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Assist with creating content for TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and other social platforms.
  • Film and edit short-form videos featuring PaintLab products.
  • Help develop content ideas based on current beauty, nail, fashion, and social media trends.
  • Participate in content shoots and assist with props, products, shot lists, and behind-the-scenes coordination.
  • Help schedule and organize social media content.
  • Write engaging captions, hooks, and on-screen text in PaintLabโ€™s brand voice.
  • Monitor trends, viral sounds, platform updates, and competitor activity.
  • Support community management by monitoring comments, messages, tags, and brand mentions.
  • Identify relevant creators and assist with influencer outreach, gifting, and follow-ups.
  • Help organize creator lists, product selections, addresses, shipment information, and campaign deliverables.
  • Track social media and creator content performance.
  • Organize content files, campaign assets, and social media reports.
  • Assist the marketing team with product launches, retail moments, events, and other projects as needed.
  • Be comfortable appearing in content when appropriate.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Current college student or recent graduate studying marketing, communications, public relations, fashion, business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social media trends.
  • Genuine interest in beauty, nails, fashion, and creator culture.
  • Creative eye and ability to recognize engaging, on-brand content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable filming and editing short-form video content.
  • Able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Positive, proactive, resourceful, and willing to take initiative.
  • Able to work collaboratively while also completing projects independently.
  • Available to work on-site in Culver City, California.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Experience creating content for a personal, school, or brand social media account.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing, affiliate programs, and creator gifting.
  • Basic photography, video editing, or graphic-design skills.
  • An existing portfolio or examples of social media content are encouraged but not required.

What Youโ€™ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience creating content for a growing national beauty brand.
  • Exposure to social media strategy, influencer marketing, product launches, and retail marketing.
  • Opportunities to build your portfolio with real brand work.
  • Experience collaborating with creative, social media, e-commerce, and marketing teams.
  • Mentorship and practical insight into working in the beauty industry.
