Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical evaluations and extensive reviews of medical histories

• Provide critical intraoperative support, from prepping operating rooms and positioning patients to efficiently passing surgical instruments during operations
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including managing medications, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Strongly preferred: Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical specialties

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
