  • Evaluate test results for precision, identify and resolve errors, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
  • Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for further analysis as needed.
  • Document all processes meticulously, mentor new staff or students, and ensure compliance with lab quality standards.
  • Uphold a clean and secure laboratory environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Education
  • Earned a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or hold an equivalent degree in allied health plus preparation for ASCP or AMT certification.
Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
  • Keep certification current throughout your tenure.
