Job Summary
At Art of Drawers, the designers are the lifeblood of the company. Designers conduct in-home consultation appointments with potential clients who want the advice, insight, and expertise of a designer to help them create space, maximize accessibility, and eliminate frustration within their existing cabinetry in kitchens, pantries, baths, mudrooms...anywhere cabinetry exists in the home! The key quality of a successful designer is a genuine commitment to listening and helping people by educating them on the products and possibilities that make up Art of Drawers’ solutions. Designers are personable, proactive, and self-motivated. This is a part-time opportunity that can expand as far as you are willing to take it.  
 
Responsibilities 
  • Convert leads to clients by conducting in-home design appointments with company-provided and self-generated client leads.
  • Coordinate and communicate with team members and upload leads, orders, estimates, designs, and photos promptly.
  • Take client deposits.
  • Provide a platinum level of service and grow your client base.
Qualifications
  • Ability to quickly learn Art of Drawers' offerings, accurately design, measure and document solutions, and employ technology.
  • Strong organizational and oral/written professional communication skills.
  • Friendly, goal-oriented, and driven nature.
  • Previous Interior design or home organizing experience a plus.
  • Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Have your own phone, computer, printer, and reliable transportation.
