About This Opportunity

Joining our Visual and Performing Arts team, the Art Class Figure Model will be responsible for the following:

  • Reach and grasp objects.
  • Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Receive and understand information through oral and written communication.
  • Experience exposure to uncomfortable work environment due to varying temperatures, noise level, and other conditions.
  • Work a fluctuating as-needed work schedule.
  • $21.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications

Be able to provide a full range of traditional life drawing poses, from gestures to sustained poses, as required by tradition and the instructor. While athletic ability is not required, body awareness and the ability to twist, turn, bend and accentuate the 3-dimensional qualities of the figure in poses is highly desirable.

The work is performed under supervision of the class instructor during class hours and models must be able to work with instructors, be punctual, and record hours after each working session. Must be comfortable posing clothed or nude.
