What does an art book editor do?

An Art Book Editor is responsible for overseeing the development, design, and publication of art books, which often showcase artwork, photography, or visual culture. They collaborate with artists, authors, designers, and publishers to ensure that the content is accurate, visually compelling, and aligned with the book’s creative vision. Their duties include selecting content, editing text, managing image rights, coordinating layouts, and guiding the project from concept to finished product.
