Production Coordinator
Job Description:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the movement of production orders, inventory, and materials throughout the operation to ensure customer commitments and production schedules are achieved. This role serves as a key liaison between warehouse, production, and offsite data center operations, proactively identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, production holds, and order flow issues. The position also supports service billing activities, reporting, and continuous process improvement through data analysis and operational monitoring.
Location: Fully In Office - Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
What You'll Be Doing:
Production & Logistics Coordination
  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of production orders, materials, and inventory throughout the facility and offsite data center locations.
  • Track production order status and expedite priority orders to meet customer and operational requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between warehouse, production, quality, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure efficient order execution.
  • Monitor workflow bottlenecks and escalate issues that may impact production schedules or customer commitments.

Inventory Management & Issue Resolution
  • Monitor and investigate inventory discrepancies, shortages, and production-related inventory issues.
  • Coordinate the return and disposition of discrepant inventory from production areas to warehouse resolution teams.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, transaction processing, and disposition notes are entered into relevant systems.
  • Support inventory accuracy initiatives and participate in root cause analysis activities when discrepancies occur.

Production Support
  • Monitor production stop-work orders, quality holds, and operational constraints.
  • Escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders and drive timely resolution to minimize operational impact.
  • Coordinate material availability and movement to support uninterrupted production activities.

Billing, Reporting & Data Analysis
  • Support service billing activities and ensure accurate transaction processing.
  • Develop and maintain operational reports using Excel and other business systems.
  • Analyze logistics and inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights and performance metrics to support operational decision-making.

Communication & Collaboration
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for logistics-related issues, updates, and escalations.
  • Maintain professional communication with internal customers, offsite partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and other operational initiatives as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, production coordination, inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and material flow processes.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, filtering, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
