About the Position:
Serves as a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist at ILSC over supply planning, demand planning, sourcing, order fulfillment, or distribution functions in Army Materiel Command (AMC). AMC delivers logistics, sustainment, and materiel readiness from the installation to the forward tactical edge to ensure globally dominant land force capabilities.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience:
In order to qualify for this position, an applicant's resume must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1.) Executing daily work assignments to resolve performance bottlenecks to support the efficient distribution of workloads within the planning division. 2.) Coordinating supply planning requirements to ensure product support strategies aligned with operational readiness goals from product development through life cycle culmination. 3.) Analyzing logistical data and supply planning principles to identify system cost, schedule, and performance impacts for Class II and IX repair parts in compliance with sustainability policies.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).

This is a DOD Demonstration Project position. Under the Defense Authorization Act, personnel management demonstration programs are operating in numerous Army activities and various other organizations supported by Army civilian personnel centers. Under the streamlined personnel operations for the demonstration projects, the familiar 15 General Schedule grade structure is replaced with broad pay bands that typically encompass a range of grades. For example, acquisition jobs in level NH-III of broad banding encompass the traditional GS-12 through GS-13 grades. Other initiatives under the demonstration projects include simplified job classification, streamlined hiring processes, and expanded developmental opportunities.
Acquisition Back To Basics Certification:This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position IAW DODI 5000.66. Selectee must meet position requirements for (Advanced- Life Cycle Logistics) certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.Education:Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
