Job Title: Army Aviation Special Staff Officer (SSO)
Location: DC Metro Area
This is an Onsite Position:
Opportunity Overview: CORTEK seeks a highly qualified Army Aviation Special Staff Officer (SSO) to support Army Aviation programs within the Force Development Division (FDV). This Key Personnel role requires operational experience in aviation units and the ability to manage Army Acquisition Category (ACAT) II and III programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of aviation equipment and Army acquisition processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support Army Aviation programs and modernization efforts
- Apply operational experience from the company to brigade-level aviation units
- Manage and advise on ACAT II and III program execution
- Coordinate with Army stakeholders to support aviation capability development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Force Development or related duties
- Experience at senior Army levels such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands
- Foundational operational experience in Army aviation units
Preferred Skills & Expertise
- Knowledge of:
