Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, and maintain procurement database, supplier recordkeeping per FAR and DFARS regulatory environment, verify pricing and part numbers in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Monitor and reconcile data inconsistencies in procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier communications.
  • Generate reports related to supplier performance, order status, lead times, and delivery metrics for internal use. Advanced reporting and KPI monitoring at the direction of Management.
  • Manage and maintain Safety Data Sheets.
  • Collaborate with Buyers, IS managers, and Supply Chain/Procurement management.
  • Assist with audit preparation and document preparation for regulatory or customer reviews.
  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing team, including database, IS management, and document filing.

Qualifications:

  • Associateโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field; Bachelorโ€™s preferred.
  • 2โ€“4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain support, ideally in a defense manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated DBM/Advanced Excel including Pivot Tables and custom formula creation
  • Proficient in ERP Systems (Global Shop Solutions preferred) with strong data entry, reporting, and analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing procurement processes, vendor management best practices, MRP, and defense industry compliance (FAR, DFARS).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
