About the Position:Serves as an Administrative Program Assistant (OA) at FTDTL. Responsible for clerical support andpreparation assistance for Attorneys, Medical Review Officers (MROs), Fort Made, MD.Qualifications:

  • Current Department of Army Civilian Employees
  • Current Department of Defense (DOD) Civilian Employee (non-Army)

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document.
GS-07 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must highlight at least year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level of pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing a variety of office automation equipment. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) utilizing software and complex file systems to maintain and manage various types of records; 2) reviewing and proofreading lengthy and complex legal documents for completeness and accuracy; AND 3) responding to telephone, email and FAX inquiries and ensuring external requests for documentation are completed to meet all rules.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).Education:This job does not have an education qualification requirement.Employment Type: OTHER
