Ferrari Express Inc., our U.S. subsidiary, provides specialized armored transportation services throughout the country. We are actively seeking Armed Armored Car Guards & Drivers to join our growing operations in Chicago, Illinois.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the secure transport of high-value shipments using armored vehicles. Armed Car Guards ensure cargo protection, maintain route integrity, and comply with both company procedures and Illinois state armed guard licensing standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • โ€ข Safely operate armored vehicles while maintaining constant control and vigilance.

  • โ€ข Follow assigned routes to securely pick up and deliver valuable cargo.

  • โ€ข Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each shift.

  • โ€ข Ensure accurate documentation of manifests, delivery logs, and custody records.

  • โ€ข Maintain active communication with dispatch, team members, and clients through secure radio channels.

  • โ€ข Load and unload goods while adhering to strict chain-of-custody and safety protocols.

  • โ€ข Respond appropriately to security risks and emergency situations in alignment with training and procedures.

  • โ€ข Comply with all local, state, and federal laws governing armed security operations and firearms use.

Minimum Qualifications
  • โ€ข High school diploma or GED.

  • โ€ข Valid Illinois Driverโ€™s License with a clean driving record (minimum of 3 years).

  • โ€ข Valid PERC Card (Permanent Employee Registration Card) โ€“ Required.

  • โ€ข Valid Firearm Control Card (FCC) issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) โ€“ Required.

  • โ€ข Completion of the required 20-hour armed guard training course.

  • โ€ข Must hold or be willing to obtain a DOT Medical Examinerโ€™s Certificate.

  • โ€ข Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and operate hand trucks and other equipment as needed.
