DUTIES:
Have a daily presence across schools, supervise security workers, assist with incident follow-up and documentation, provide support for school arrival/dismissal times, assist Director of District Safety with response to calls.
SALARY:

QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST currently hold the Civil Service title of Safety & Security Coordinator OR Bachelor's degree in Police Science, Criminal Justice or Fire Science, plus one year of experience in a police agency involving work in investigations, as a police officer, military police, or armored vehicle guard,OR Associate's degree in Police Science, Criminal Justice, or Fire Science plus three years of experience as defined aboveย ORย five years of experience as defined above.ย Must have a clean NYS driver's license.
MUST take the next Civil Service exam for Safety & Security Coordinator and be reachable for appointment from the resulting list.ย
