Job Title: Armed Armored Car Guard & Driver
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts; availability required for weekends, holidays, and overtime

We are currently seeking professional Armed Armored Car Guards & Drivers to join our growing operations in North Carolina.

Position Summary

The Armed Armored Car Guard & Driver is responsible for the secure handling and transportation of high-value assets, ensuring the safety of personnel, goods, and equipment in accordance with Ferrari Express policies, industry standards, and North Carolina state regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate armored vehicles safely and in compliance with assigned routes and client schedules.

  • Load and unload cargo with attention to safety protocols and chain-of-custody requirements.

  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any deficiencies.

  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including manifests, delivery logs, and security reports.

  • Remain alert, observant, and ready to respond to potential threats or emergencies.

  • Communicate professionally with dispatch, team members, and clients via secure radio and tracking systems.

  • Maintain strict compliance with company procedures and state licensing standards for armed security personnel.

  • Represent Ferrari Express with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Valid North Carolina Driver’s License with a clean record (minimum of 3 years required).

  • Valid North Carolina Armed Guard Registration issued by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board (PPSB) (Required).

  • Completion of the PPSB-approved firearms training course (Required).

  • Must possess or be willing to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate for vehicle operation.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs., and safely operate hand trucks and dollies.

  • Must complete a criminal background check, drug screening, and firearms qualification.

  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure, security-sensitive environments.

  • Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in armored transportation, law enforcement, military, or private armed security.

  • Knowledge of secure transport practices and state firearm regulations.

  • Familiarity with GPS and communication technologies used in route management.
